I have always wondered how most of the people in the world don't believe in magic. If a person sees, say, the Lock Ness monster and tells another person, the other person will dismiss it as fantasy and advise them to see a psychiatrist. But do they pause to consider that hundreds, or even thousands, have seen the Lock Ness monster? No. I think it is impossible that every single on the the people who have claimed to see the Lock Ness monster is either lying, delusional, or has been tricked. What I'm trying to say is that magic is real, and you shouldn't let anyone make you doubt that. I am 12 years old, and I believe in magic.

I find it sad how so many people doubt that magic exists. If some one sees something magic and tells another person about it, the other person dismisses it as imagination. IT'S NOT ALWAYS IMAGINATION! When will people get that into their head. Not every person who has supposedly seen magic is lying, been tricked, or delusional. I am 12 years old and I believe in magic.

Tiny Things

This isn't my doll house but mine is just as awesome.

I have a weakness for small things. That's what makes shopping for doll house stuff dangerous. If I don't be careful I can spend a TON of money. But I love it.

We went to the doll house museum on Sunday. It was really interesting. They had a lot of  vintage doll house mansions there. The detail was amazing. They also had a shop. It was small but I got a lot from it. I actually found a doll that wasn't creepy!!! Do you know how hard that is?!?! It's near impossible!

After I bought all the things for my doll house I redecorated it with the help of my sister (She should really be an interior decorator, she rearranges her room often enough). My doll house now looks really good.

If you want to get some cute doll house stuff go on Etsy or Amazon.

Longing for Spring

I want it to be spring already!!! I'm sick of winter. I can usually make it to February without feeling this way but I want spring NOW!
In spring you can climb trees and all around things are blooming, and there's spring break. Plus my dad promised to paint the inside of my tree house in the spring.  Most of winter is like a sickness and spring is the only cure. If that the case then I'm on death's doorstep. I need to get off of there.

  Spring can't come soon enough.

The Benifits of Winter

I love skating on ice. Okay not real skating, just with shoes. But it's really fun! My dad and I went down to a park behind our house and it was mostly flooded and frozen over. When ever I stepped on it though, it cracked. Though I'm going back there tomorrow and it should be even more frozen. Lately there is ice everywhere, even at school. There's this giant puddle where we aren't really allowed to go (They don't reinforce that rule at all. Besides, I was allowed to go there last year!). I skated on it with a friend, again with shoes.

That would have been quite fun enough for one day but then I saw more ice at my ballet place. It was two inches thick! I could walk on it with out breaking. It cracked a few times but it didn't totally break (good because I wasn't wearing my rain boots like in the park! :).

I wish I could take ice skating lessons. Maybe I'll try to convince my parents of that. In all, it was a good day, for ice that is.

Winter Break is Over

Winter break is over. I have mixed feelings about that. Mostly I just want it to continue. My first day back was good/bad. Here are the reasons why it was good:
  •  I got to see all my friends again.
  • I got to see a teacher that I really like, and had in 5th grade.
  • I got to see my music teacher. (He's awesome)
  • I actually got to play new music in orchestra.
  • No homework .

Sounds pretty good right? That part of my day was good. It was fun to see all my friends again. I hadn't seen them all during break.  And then there's the bad side:

  •  The work we did in school.
  • We started health (I personally think this period is useless, it's not like we will tell our future employers how to handle stress! Plus we already know most of it).
  • I had to leave home & wake up a 6 o' clock.
  • Most of my teachers don't like my class and I have to deal with that. (My class is loud)

As you can see the good out ways the bad.  It was a better day at school than usual.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

This break has been very fun. Excellent Christmas presents, a foot of snow, sledding with friends, a new bookcase from ikea, and more. I cleaned up my room so it is really cozy. It was really fun organizing my new bookcase, I love it. There are 6 levels on my shelf. The Harry Potter level, the book level, the Makery level, the craft & fun level, the French level, and the collection level. It makes my room look bigger and cozier. My bookcase is a great addition to my room.

My shelves
The French level

My diorama that I made
Do you see why I love it? In my mind old things, new things, borrowed things, and blue things make a room complete.
